Janet Jackson Brings Tour To Jakarta

Janet Jackson's next stop on her largest ever world tour will be Jakarta. will hit the Indonesian Island on February 9th. Fans voted and submitted their suggestions and Janet will be performing her 35 number ones hits there. Fans submitted suggestions to www.janetjackson.com to have their city selected the winning cities so far have been Singapore on February 7th, Hong Kong on February 14th, and Taipei on February 18th, Manila on February 4th and now Jakarta. The Jakarta show will take place at the Plenary Hall Jakarta Convention Center.

This tour will differ from her previous concert schedules in that she will perform music exclusively from her chart topping CD NUMBER ONES. There will also be a focus on venues that will allow Janet to be up close and personal in a much more intimate setting. In each selected city JANET will offer something different to her performance so no show will be the same. This tour is JANET more revealed, more intimate, and more personal than ever before. Don't look for special effects. Just look at Janet. Tickets will go on sale January 14th.

Janet has expressed her excitement for the upcoming performance in Manila by stating,

Janet has also selected the first fan winner of the contest in voting for the cities. The presence of The Smashing Pumpkins in Java Rockin'Land 2010, it became the most awaited band. FireHouse's arrival is the purpose of the Firehouse World Tour 2010 - Indonesia & South East Asia.

Firehouse is a hard rock band that very well known with several hits songs that quite familiar to lovers of rock music in Indonesia. songs such as Love a Life Time, Don't Treat Me Bad, I Live My Life For You, When I Look In To Your Eyes, In Your Perfect World, and others. Firehouse is an American hard rock band formed in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1989. The band reached stardom during the early 1990s. FireHouse won the award for Best New Hard Rock/Metal Band were chosen over Nirvana and Alice in Chains. Originally composed of C.J. Snare (vocalist), Bill Leverty (guitarist), Cosby Ellis (guitarist), Michael Foster (drummer), and Perry Richardson (bassist), the band has maintained its original members with the exception of Cosby Ellis, who left the band in 1989 after co-writing the multi platinum debut recording and was not replaced, and Richardson, who departed in 2000 due to conflict. Richardson was replaced three times before current bassist Allen McKenzie was given the position in 2004.

Actually the U2 has agreed to held a concert in Indonesia in a series of tours this year (2010), but only few of the proposed terms there is one that is still a constraint. Bono (U2 Vocalist) is not give a decision to held a concert in Indonesia. Bono asked that the problems of humanity, global warming, environmental issues, and factors of poverty, cared for by the state. because Bono had promised that He would not come if the country is not concerned with that problems. Maybe Bono is still regarded Indonesia, that including the State was not ready to be visited for a concert, related to this issue.

But whatever His decision later, Indonesian music lovers really expect for U2 concert in Indonesia. Indonesia is the third most populated country in Asia. So U2 will consider of the commercial side, that Indonesia is a country that should be considered as a promising market for the music industry.
