Java Rockinland 2011

After Indonesia, especially Jakarta, becoming known as a lover of jazz music destination thanks to the Java Jazz Festival, now is the time to echo Jakarta as a city destination rock music lovers around the world. Through the largest annual rock festival in South East Asia Rockin'land Java, Jakarta is expected to again be a gathering place for music lovers not only from all over Indonesia, but also from neighboring countries.

So far, the band recorded 14 international and 60 groups Indonesia has given its confirmation to appear on Gudang Garam InterMusic Java Rockin'land 2011 on 22, 23 and July 24, 2011, at Carnaval Beach Ancol.

Some of them are The Cranberries, The Dirt Radicals, Ed Kowalczyk of Live, 30 Seconds to Mars, Neon Trees, Loudness, We Are Scientists, Happy Mondays, Blood Red Shoes, The Young Giant, Good Charlotte, Franco, Frente, Helloween.

While some of the rock group from Indonesia that has agreed to appear include God Bless, Cupumanik, Edane, Power Metal, 7 Deadly Sins, The Morning After, Closehead, husky, Speak Up, Step Forward, Power Slave, X-Shibuya, March No labels, Divide, Master Wu, morphemes, Dried Cassava, Fable, Alone At Last and Munthe. List of rock group that will perform will continue to grow.

You ever come to Java Rockin'land certainly know what rapture to be found during the course of three days of concert music. And in Java Rockin'land this year, there are at least four brothers rock group: The Cranberries (Noel and Mike Hogan), 30 Seconds to Mars (Shannon and Jared Leto), The Dirt Radicals (Matt and Sam Cooper), and Good Charlotte (Joel and Benji Madden). Happy Mondays was founded by brothers Shaun and Paul Ryder, but Paul was not with the Happy Mondays. Meanwhile, Ed Kowalczyk, along with the group since LIVE, often playing with his brother, Adam Kowalczyk, as an additional player.

2. Year 2011 is a special year for the legendary Japanese rock band, Loudness. They celebrate the age of 30 years. During the month of May, June AI, Loudness toured the United States as a celebration. Loudness is a Japanese rock group that scored success on the U.S. mainland.

The Dance Company

The Dance Company, not a name of a company or a community, but is the name of a band that recently able to steal the attention and give a new feel of the music industry in indonesia. The Dance Company is a new band in indonesia's music industry. but this band is a combination of 4 indonesian top vocalist, and they already exist prior to the band/solo each. they are Pongky Bharata (Jikustik's Vocalist), Aryo Wahab (Movie Stars & Soloist), Baim (ex - Ada Band & Soloist), and Nugie (Alv Band & Soloist). The Dance Company claiming as a rock n roll group that plays up beat music. Different band, does not seem to be exciting with no changes. and they change their top name with other name for them exist with the name when still childs. Nugie as a drummer called Embot, Baim as a guitarist called Bebe, Pongki as a bassist called Wega and Ariyo as lead vocal called Riyo. as a sign to them serious with this band formed, The Dance Company released the first album (mini album, 6 songs) with the hit single are "Papa Rock n 'Roll" and recently launched in Hardrock Cafe Jakarta on June 17, 2009.

Vierra

Vierra is an Indonesian band that is currently as a top band in indonesian music industry. Vierra began they career in the music industry with the first band name is Andante Band, in mid-2008. and Andante Band morphed being Vierra Band Indonesian Artist Fans Club. Vierra consisted of 4 personnel are Widy Nichlany (vocals), Kevin Aprilio (piano, keyboards), Raka Cyril (guitar), and Tryan (drum).

Vierra band was founded by Kevin Aprilio, a young talented pianist who was the inspirator of this band and creates almost all the Vierra's songs and Arrangement. and also He is a son of the couple of Addie MS (Conductor) and Memes (Singer). Vierra's debut album is titled "My First Love", brought the flow of Disney's Pop Music and the Power Pop that is fun and easy listening plus a little Japanese ornaments and accentuation of Rock. and producing hits singles "Dengarkan Curhatku". and subsequent success with other hits like "Bersamamu" and "Perih". Homogenic

If you hear the music from this band, we seemed to be brought into the world of fantasy and dreams. harmonization of meaningful lyrics and beautiful music. was rather difficult to digest and foreign sounding music that are hits music in the mainstream music industry, but this is the color of music that "must" heard to expel the saturation of the mainstream music.

This band is Homogenic. Homogenic is an Indie band from Bandung, West Java - Indonesia who brought the kind of music and producing rare combinations of electronic music. Homogenic was established in Bandung in 2002. Homogenic consists of three personnel, are Dina Dellyana (synth, rhythm progamming, bass, piano), Risa Saraswati (vocals - has resign) was replaced by Amandia Syachridar and Grahadea Kusuf (programming). Homogenic is one of the successful indie band from Bandung besides Mocca.

Until now Homogenic has released three albums titled Epic Symphony (2003) Echoes of the Universe (2007), and Let A Thousand Flowers Bloom. Let Thousand Flowers Bloom album is the last album that has released on April 2010 ago and results hits single "Seringan Awan". All of on their records have been released by FFWD Records, a leading recording company name in the independent scene. The Bandung-based label has proven Itself in on their all-out effort to spread the word about on their releases, events outside of Indonesia. The label has taken Homogenic Also Abroad. which is on their first international tour, playing an All-Indonesia series Called Rockin' the Region: Indonesia, at Singapore's finest art complex, the Esplanade-Theatre on the Bay. Numata

Numata is Indonesian band that consisting of 3 brotherhood who they are childs of the Indonesian singer, Tetty Kadi, namely Tantra (first child), Mhala (third child) and Inu (fifth child). Numata was formed in Bandung on July 2002 with the formation Duhita Panchatantra or Tantra (Piano), Simhala Avadana or Mhala (Vocal & Guitar) and Mahavira Vishnu Wardhana or Inu (Drums). Numata's band name actually has no special meaning. That's just their initials name, Inu, Mhala, and Tantra. Numata also is the name of a town that located near with Gunma city in Japan.

Until now Numata has released three albums. the first album titled Dengar Numata in 2004, their second album in 2007 titled Numata (self titled), with the hits song "Raja Jatuh Cinta" and "Jangan Katakan". Even in this album, Numata duet with their mother, in the song "Penjaga Hati". and third album titled 3=1 released in 2009 with the hits single "Begini Begitu" and "Pesona".

In addition to recording an album, they are also busy as the songwriter. Since March 2006 they are joined with SONY BMG Indonesia, and many of their songs became a hits by sung with others singers such as Pinkan Mambo, Audy, etc, in Indonesia music industry.
