Stop Piracy
While Peterpan still in the peak of popularity, various sources claim that the sales volume of the Cassette/CD of Peterpan successfully sold over 2 million copies. wow ...!, may be if the price is 1 (one) cassette is IDR 20.000, -, how much if the result is multiplied? not only from the CD. "all of that money"... :-). That is a description sales of cassette/CD of the original. so, how much the pirated?. that do more. Peterpan's never reveal themselves in the media that the possibility pirated cassette/CD can be 3x amount. emmmh, about 6 million copies is ... wow!!!.Question is..,

...why cassette/CD is more in demand rather than plowing the original? I also get all the people, cassette/CD pirated price is much cheaper. just imagine, the original CD will cost about IDR. 40.000 - 50.000, -. while the plowing is IDR.5.000, -). so what most people buy pirated CDs, a variety of reasons. there is not the only not make the collection, there is a thing than that to buy the original CD is expensive, so like the pirated.
Anywhere in the world, that piracy is definitely there. but it's certainly different in some aspect with indonesia. to combat piracy is difficult. because it is illegal practice that could harm the country, then that is the government authority should be associated with this problem. we as a people, can only support for this.
In advanced countries, it's not a problem is the price of a original cassette/CD. so governments need to do this or that urge not to buy pirated products. different from the majority community indonesia should think many times to just buy a original cassette/CD . Call anything so good from the government or the artist of its own, will not affect many.
There may be a solution ... the possibility certainly exists. eg;
1. Original Cassette/CD is must be lowering its price can compete with the price of the pirates cassette/CD. but it's not possible. because costs and taxes of production will not cost return by government if sold, IDR 1o.ooo eg., recording companies could go bankrupt.
2. Indonesian people should be established economically. so eg the minimum wage for laborers at least IDR 3 million, surely they will feel if the loss should buy a cassette / CD at 50,000,. make it still difficult to eat...:-)
3. The seller cassette/CD feel ashamed and guilty of selling pirated products. essentially self-awareness. but it's also difficult, because for some people, selling pirated cassette / CD is livelihood. so, mostly because it had to undergo all of that and demand economics.
4. The role of government should be firm. but do not just drive out the merchants cassette/CD is pirated. because it is not the solution. which should be secured is a businessman who have capital in the pirates business.
5. We as consumers/buyers, should also have awareness. that by buying pirated products is the same also with the purchase of a useful. we better save to buy the original. just buy it with the original product, we have pro investment. although in a moment we do not have money, cassette /CD original that we can sell more ... :-).

Against piracy, and not have to drive out the way the seller cassette/CD is not to sell pirated again. because the way is less effective and tend to just right of the pirate is just disappeared. but opposite to the way piracy "does not heed their presence". we do not bother with them and not buy their products, slowly will lost their existence and of course they will feel loss.
