Padi

Formed in Surabaya at april 8, 1997, this group is a creative arts of five Airlangga University students. Originally named 'Soda', but later changed to 'Padi'. This group started in the cross-sinister world of the music in the 90's. Padi began a name known after the project joined in indie music from Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia (Indie Ten) with 10 other bands (Cokelat Band is one of them) with single hits "Sobat". since then, Padi productive enough with the album that turns out very successful in the indonesia's music industry at that time. Until now, Padi is a band that have a very unique musical character arransement with great lyrics.
